- Soundboard: Master grade German Spruce
- Back & Sides: 'AAA' grade Brazilian Rosewood
- Border inlay: Rippled Abalone with each individual piece being carefully matched for color and light refraction.
- Binding: German flamed Maple
- Fret-board & Bridge: Ebony with white/black/white lines and ebony fret-board binding
- Fret board inlay: The Rose inlay is cut by hand and features 8 pieces of selected pearl for the head with the leaves being represented in abalone heart and the stem in rippled abalone. My intention with this inlay was to recreate in shell, the various shadows and textures captured in the photograph (from which the design was taken) as accurately as possible. The result is an inlay that is quite "three dimensional" and almost "life-like" as opposed to the more traditional but one dimensional approach
- Misc: Both the Nut and heel-cap are polished Mother of Pearl.
